Media Assistant - Haifa Association

Haifa Association for the Palestinian Family Care is seeking to employ a full-time “Media
Assistant” to work in the Communications and Public Relations Section as follows:

Requirements:
• Diploma in Photography & video editing, Publicity, Public Relations, or any other related fields with at least graduation average 70+%.
• Proven previous experience at least two years in photographing, video taking, and editing.
• Possession of the needed Camera and other related equipment to be used to produce the requested media materials.
• Proven creativity in producing photos, video, and editing (actual previous productions will be requested).
• Ability to produce the requested photos, video shots, and editing with high quality in an adequate time (before deadlines ).
• Experience in producing photos, and video shots to be used in a range of social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap chat, etc) within a work/professional context.
• Flexible dealing with different stakeholders of all levels.
• Excellent computer skills (Window, MS Officer, Internet, .. etc)
• Ability to work in late hours according to different needs.
• Ability to work within a team and under heavy workloads.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Assisting the Communications and Public Relations Section (and other sections) in the following:
• Documenting (photo and video) programmes, projects, activities, etc. in different stages of its implementation and the humanitarian conditions including field visits, beneficiaries’ and stakeholders’ interviews, etc.
• Conducting the necessary screening and editing for the raw media materials and producing requested footages, documentaries, and promotions.
• Assisting the Communications and Public Relations Section in preparing the requested case studies, success stories, fundraising and awareness campaign’s requirements and others.
• Providing ideas for documenting and focus on the creative aspects of media.
• Building a media library going through old footage/photos to keep things updated and filed etc.
• Providing different social media requests and activities…e.g. snapchat, Instagram etc.
• Any other related tasks.
