Title:Health Project Coordinator
Contract duration:18 months

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
The Project Coordinator (PC) is vested with providing managerial and technical services and ensuring adherence to sound management standards. The PC will supervise and manage the project entitled "Supporting Health Sector Services in Gaza Strip". He will be responsible to provide overall management and supervision for the mentioned project activities; also, he will ensure compliance with project goals, conduct and provide all necessary monitoring and reporting procedures and deliverables.
1-To monitor and control expenses related to project work and ensure organizational forecasts and budgets are met for these expenses.
2-Represent Qatar Charity in project’s steering committee meetings, and distribute minutes to all QC’s relevant staff.
3-Review submittals of partners including, lists of medical drugs and disposables, materials of medical laboratories, electro mechanical equipment in need for maintenance and lists of new essential medical equipment, in addition to assessment reports and lists of needs for people with movement disabilities particularly technical aids before preparing procurement process related to these items.
4-Assist in handling procurement activities relating to contracts and sub contracts in accordance with QC procedures and procurement activities, in cooperation with Logistics Officer.
5-Assure proper conductance of supplying all purchased health and medical items; including, all preparation issues, documentation and reporting.
6-To act as a liaison on behalf Qatar Charity with Ministry of Health and target NGO's managing any work interfaces and enhancements to project scope.
7-Undertake team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by concerned parties.
8-Undertake Programming and Quality Control reporting interaction with other concerned parties to assure production schedules and deliveries are met.
9-To perform such other duties as may be assigned.
ESSENTIAL WORK ACTIVITIES
Not limited to the followings; Planning, Deciding, Implementing, Coordination, Supervising, Directing, Controlling, Motivating, Checking, and Developing Relationship.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Bachelor degree preferably in health sector (medicine, nursing, health management, pharmacy, biomedical engineering…etc.) with minimum 4 years related work experience.
-Planning and analytical skills.
-Knowledge in the health sector’s needs and improvement requirements.
-Procurement needs assessment, and supplying procedures knowledge.
-Team leadership, supervisory, and negotiation Skills.
-Computer Skills, word, excel, access, MS-project.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Good knowledge of English and Arabic.
-An understanding of and commitment to QC’s mission and values
