Ajyal Association for Creativity and Development is a Palestinian nongovernmental organization firstly established in 2003 and registered at the Ministry of Interior, no.7329.
It mainly aims to contribute in the Palestinian society development through implementing a variety of programs and developing projects. It seeks likewise to develop the concepts of community work according to a vision suits our society needs and to increase the targeted groups awareness and perception to contribute in a real development process to ultimately enhance and develop our society abilities. Ajyal works on four main programs: (Youth, child, woman and humanitarian support.
AACD in partnership with Catholic Relief Services CRS starts a program entitled” Child Friendly Spaces (Farah Centers) under the CPP emergency response program funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). AACD is recruiting candidates for the following positions:
Title: Project coordinator
Number of positions: 1 Place: Ajyal Association for Creativity and Development, Gaza Period: 6 months with possibility of extension Starting date: As soon as possible
Administrative and technical supervision, follow up and implementation of the program activities.
Supervision of technical and professional staff involved in the program activities that fall within his/her responsibility.
Ensure all program activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to donor’s rules and regulations.
Plan and conduct regular field visits to ensure proper activities implementation on the ground.
Prepare periodical reports as requested by AACD and donor in consultation with the Executive Manager.
Assist the Executive Manager in monitoring and evaluating the program by reporting to donor on the program outputs and outcomes.
Contribute to the development of new program ideas in the field of work.
To document all activities of the program and maintain an efficient program filing system including all program related documents.
Perform any other tasks required by Executive Manager.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other related field
Three years of professional experience in project management, preferably with experience in working with NGO's.
Professional level in both Arabic & English language skills.
Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic.
Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Advanced computer literacy.
Ability to work under pressure and within a team
